This has forced businesses to fold and as a result people have lost their jobs.The tourism industry has provided work for half of the Bahamian workforce. With contributions from other industries such as farm ing the effects of this recession can be minimized. Contribution means the act of giving in common with others for a common purpose. If the farming industry is utilise then less jobs will be lost and more jobs will be provided, and decrease our dependence on imported foods. One contribution that farming can make is creating jabs. Jobs provide money to circulate around the country to improve the country and to help with the welfare of families in the country.
